Palestine and Gaza

Our stance

We unequivocally stand for an immediate end to the genocide in Gaza. Veilinista affirms the equal value of every life and calls for urgent protection of civilians, immediate ceasefire, and full humanitarian access. The International Court of Justice has found a plausible evidence of genocide and ordered Israel to prevent acts prohibited by the Genocide Convention and to enable lifesaving aid. What is happening to civilians

Since October 7, 2023, repeated strikes and ground operations have devastated homes and neighborhoods and have hit hospitals, schools, churches, and mosques. United Nations reporting documents patterns of attacks on and near medical facilities. World Health Organization updates record hundreds of attacks on health care and widespread hospital closures. Ongoing UN field updates also record schools sheltering displaced families being struck. (UN Human Rights Office)

Independent damage assessments using satellite imagery show extraordinary levels of destruction across civilian infrastructure including housing, education, health, water, and sanitation systems.

Famine and public health

Gaza’s children and mothers are facing acute malnutrition. UNICEF and the World Food Programme have warned of a looming catastrophe and continuing risk of famine, findings echoed by formal famine review analyses. In 2025, United Nations and World Health Organization updates reported famine conditions affecting large parts of the population and a health system at the breaking point. (UNICEF)
